Check in virtually on Zoom once a month as a family to claim your gift card and enjoy fun games, program updates, special guests, and more!

These check-ins will be held on June 9th at 11:30 AM & at 4pm, June 23rd at 11:30 AM & at 4 PM, July 7th at 11:30 AM & at 4pm, July 21st at 11:30 AM & at 4 PM, and August 4th at 11:30 AM & at 4 PM. Choose any one session per month to attend.

H.U.G. Reading Program connects struggling readers with community H.U.G. tutors who want to Help Us Grow strong students.
H.U.G. engages 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students for an hour once a week with 1:1 tutoring in a virtual setting. Our mission is to provide both character development activities and reading support to help struggling readers become more productive students in the classroom. This is a pivotal time in their young lives to set their trajectory on a positive path.
H.U.G. engages volunteers to share their experience and wisdom with students by becoming a reading tutor and sharing our Be The Difference™ message. These experiences afford volunteers the opportunity to see first-hand how they are making a positive impact on the lives of children in our community.
H.U.G. operates in 7 counties across Kentucky and Florida and we’re seeing more and more progress with students, but it’s not only about them — our H.U.G. Tutors get so much value from investing energy into a child’s future. We promise to honor everyone’s time.
